Outdoor Staging
Special Projects
Impact Production Services (IPS) has the UK's Largest Rental Stock of Prolyte LiteDeck modular staging, with over 1500 staging decks in stock. Along with some of the more conventional staging structures, we have also built various weird and wonderful structures. If you need to build a platform to support a car at an angle over a staircase, or want to build a giant long jump platform to jump over multiple cars, we can help! We can design and install all sorts of projects. We can create working CAD drawings and get appropriate structural calculations where required, and assist with all relevant Health & Safety documentation. Please bear in mind that depending on the project details, we usually need at least 14 days notice to arrange structural calculations for bespoke structures. We look forward to hearing from you to discuss your event requirements- why not get in touch now?
PA Towers
To provide controlled audio dispersion over an outdoor area, elevating PA systems is usually an essential starting point, especially with Line Array Systems. We can supply a range of different PA Tower structures designed specifically to hang speakers cabinets outside. Depending on the trim height required, and the design requirements, IPS have truss based towers and more enclosed Layher based towers ready to deploy in a range of standard sizes. Standard configurations are as follows:
- 7.5m Prolyte RT-H30V Truss PA Towers
- 10.5m Eurotruss HD44 Truss PA Sound Towers (NEW)
- 10m , 11m & 13m Prolyte RT-S52SV Truss PA Towers
- 8m, 10m & 12m Layher PA Towers
The truss based towers offer quick deployment times and a discrete appearance, while the Layher options offer more weather protection and branding opportunities, plus two point pick up options if required. IPS can deliver and install PA towers for your event, and they can be supplied with or without PA systems, and can offer even better value when combined with our range of Outdoor Roof Structures.
If you have a project coming up that requires any kind of PA Tower structure, please get in touch to discuss your site and event requirements.
LED Screen Support Structures
Outdoor Screens are increasingly popular for all kinds of outdoor events. They can be the centrepiece of a Drive In or Outdoor Cinema performance, used as IMAG or Relay Screens to give the audience a better view of the action, or to enhance a production with visuals, presentations or advertising.
We can supply a range of different structures to support almost all type, size and configuration of LED screen in either flown or ground stacked configuration. We have a range of standard structures to support some popular screen configurations, and customised options can also be supplied to suit your event requirements.
Truss based options are typically quicker to deploy and allow LED panels to be fitted from ground level. Layher based options can be made in a huge range of sizes, and are a great choice where the structure needs to be fully branded or concealed. Typically LED panels are ground stacked on Layher structures, with multi-level access incorporated into the structure design.
Wind loadings are an important consideration when working outdoors, and structures are designed to allow for wind loadings, and secured with either ground anchors or surface ballast in the form of concrete blocks, water filled tanks or steel weights.
LED Screen Support Structures can be designed, supplied and installed by our team. We can also supply a range of Outdoor LED screen systems if required, or you can use your own. Please get in touch to discuss your LED Screen Support Structure requirements and pricing details.
Outdoor Steps and Ramps
The ground is very rarely level on outdoor event sites, and Steps & Ramps are an ideal way to get crew, performers, equipment and event attendees where they need to go. Ideal when combined with our range of Outdoor Roof Structures, Outdoor Roof Structures or Viewing Platforms, we can get you up or down to whatever level needed. Steps and Ramps can be configured as required for their intended use, as in a performance situation design and aesthetics may be the primary consideration, whilst for a public access situation efficient customer flow and safety are more likely to be top of the list.
We have extensive experience in all kinds of temporary step and ramp access, and all the various regulations that apply from the UK building regulations, temporary demountable structures (TDS) guidelines and disability discrimination act (DDA) compliant access to Accessible Viewing Platforms (AVPs), combined with a practical experience of how things work onsite.
We can design, supply and install outdoor steps and ramps in conjunction with our range of other onsite services, and have a range of Layher and LiteDeck standard modules ready for use which can be supplied along with customised elements as required. Please get in touch to discuss your step and ramp requirements and pricing.
