IPS has kicked off the summer in style with the Prolyte CLT XL 16m x 14m Outdoor Roof Structure. The Crooked Ways event at Pontefract Racecourse hosted the CLT last weekend, with performances including Reverend and the Makers and headliners Razorlight. The outdoor staging season is very much upon us, with all the staff at IPS gearing up for a very busy Jubilee weekend
Ian Brown, Senior Technician at Impact Production Services stayed onsite with the CLT XL stage over the weekend, to check that everything was ok with the monster structure and keep a watchful eye over the wind speed meter. The event was a resounding success, and the IPS team loaded up the two artic loads of equipment that make the stage on Sunday, before heading back to base in Milton Keynes.
The CLT XL is just one of the range of festival and outdoor stages that IPS have in stock, with covered platforms suitable for events to one comedian onstage to a whole orchestra. There is still limited availability for structures over the summer season this year, and we are always happy to discuss events taking place further in the future – please contact us to check dates, or for further details
