IPS are in the race for 2023 to raise money for Backup Tech
Something a little bit different: this is the first time IPS has entered a team, and a group of staff have got together to show the world what they can do – and to raise some money for industry charity Backup Tech along the way. The Milton Keynes International Dragon Boat Festival takes place each year at Willen Lake, and 2023 is the 20th event which takes place on Saturday 22nd July. 
Teams compete over a 200m water-based racecourse, paddling their 10m long Dragon Boats in a series of heats to find the winner. Teams are formed by local businesses and organisations and raise money for a charity of their choice. IPS has supported Backup Tech as their nominated charity for several years now. Backup Tech is “The UK’s Registered Technical Entertainment Charity That Provides Financial & Wellbeing Support To Technical Industry Professionals” and works with all parts of the technical event industry supply chain, including freelancers, employed staff and their families.
