We have made a few changes to better support our growing team and customer base.
IPS has announced a management restructure to support the growing list of clients and projects on the horizon. Karl Saunders has taken on the role of Managing Director, whilst owner James Mason has become Key Account Director. Supported by Andy Marshall (Logistics & Facilities), Gilles Quentel (Warehouse Operations), Ian Brown (Head of Technical) and Tom Warden (H&S and Marketing), this will form the IPS senior management team, which will allow the company to better scale to the continually expanding operation. Ryan Bellamy is now formally continuing to support Gilles in his role as Assistant Warehouse Manager, and Head of Lighting Steven Moseley has recently also taken on the additional role of Asset Manager for the company.
Karl has been running IPS alongside James for the last seven years and says:
“I am delighted to be formally taking on this role, and proud to lead our respected multi-skilled team, delivering quality equipment and technical support to the live events industry”.
The new year is already looking positive for IPS, with lots of Staging & Structures dates already confirmed, as well as continuing Technical Production projects and sustained growth in the Trade Equipment Hire side of the business. James says:
“It is great to be busy, but it is also important to address industry issues like staff shortages whilst remaining competitive and on top of the latest industry trends and sustainability best practice” he continues, explaining that “by working closely with the management team, we will be able to better provide a reliable service and maintain our valued customer and industry relationships”
IPS has 50 full time employees based mainly from its Milton Keynes premises and supports events all over the UK and further afield. The company has Staging, Rigging, Lighting, Video, Sound and Power equipment available to hire, alongside an extensive range of Staging & Structure solutions with Outdoor Roof Structures from Prolyte and Eurotruss, supported with Layher Event System components.
