IPS has a new high resolution aPix2 LED Screen option ready to hire. The high contrast panels offer amazing colours and smooth image reproduction

The new screen is manufactured by Prolights, and the aPix2 panels that IPS have now added to hire stock have a pixel pitch of 2.9mm. This is the highest resolution rental panel currently available, and a true sub 3mm option. Black faced SMD LEDs ensure a high contrast display, and the Novastar processing provides lots of setup and calibration options. Screens can be built in a large range of sizes – and almost any shape required. With just under 200 panels added to stock, whatever your requirements, we can help! 

The screen is constructed from 500mm x 500mm panels, which are the same physical size as the existing IPS rental stock options. With each aPix2 panel weighing just 8kg, screens can easily be either flown or ground supported. IPS also have stocks of flybars for this screen system.

Power is linked via powerCON connectors, and data via Ethercon connectors, making scalable configurations easy to deploy. Each panel consumes just 130w of power, and the fanless operation of these panels makes the system silent in operation. Each panel has an active display area of 168 x 168 pixels, so HD and higher resolutions can easily be achieved.
