All IPS equipment that was on 15A has now been fitted with 16A CEE Form connectors. 15A cabling and adaptors still available

Over the last few months, the IPS service department has been working hard to change all our fixtures over to CEE Form connectors. Anything that has previously been on a 15A connector is now 16A, including Zero 88 Alphapack and Betapack Dimmers – please make sure you bear this in mind when hiring equipment, and also when connecting up and patching equipment on site.

IPS will still be stocking 15A cables, and we have also boosted the stocks of our 15A to 16A and 16A to 15A adaptors to make sure everything will still connect smoothly. Socapex spiders are also still stocked in both 15A and 16A flavours for connecting with other systems. Please see here for our range of adaptors.

We hope that the wholesale move to 16A will not cause any problems, and that now all equipment is standardised it will mean that less adaptors will be needed, and life will be simpler for everyone.
