Active speakers from RCF and Proel now in rental stock - you heard it here first!
Following customer demand for more powered speaker options, IPS are pleased to announce that we now have a range of powered speakers in stock and ready to hire. There is a range available to suit various requirements, along with stands, cabling and any other get your event heard.
The RCF HD 12-A are the largest of the powered speakers in stock, and they feature a 12inch woofer and 1inch HF unit. The built in amplifier module is matched to the driver units, and digital processing and limiting ensures a clean sound. The RCF speakers have audio inputs via XLR connectors, which can be switched between mic and line level sources for maximum flexibility, and also have a handy link out option to connect multiple units. The power is connected via and IEC inlet. The speakers have pole mount adaptors to easily fit onto standard speaker stands, and the 18kg package is supplied in a padded back for easy transportation. The Proel V8A is a mid-size powered speaker, featuring an 8inch woofer and 1inch HF unit. These have already proved useful as shout speakers between stage and FOH positions, and will no doubt find many other applications. Similar to the RCF models, they have audio inputs and link outputs via XLR connectors, and power is connected via an IEC inlet. Check out the dry hire prices here.
The compact Yamaha MS-101 has been in stock for a while, but is a very handy little unit where discrete foldback is needed with minimal fuss. The 4inch coaxial driver and twin inputs make this a quickly deployable option. Check out the dry hire prices here.
