Large LED screens are now available from IPS, along with DVI Fibre kits and a range of other AV goodies
The Samsung DM65E 65" LED screens stocked by IPS are from the commercial LED range, making them ideal for all kinds of events applications. They have a full HD display resolution of 1920 x 1080, and an impressive 4000:1 contrast ratio meaning images look bright and vibrant.
The screens have a wide range of input connectors, and can display sources on VGA, DVI, HDMI, and Display Port connections, plus composite/component video via an adaptor. Audio can be inputted via either HDMI or a 3.5mm socket, and the built in 10w speakers incorporated into the screen can be used for local audio playback. Power is connected via a cloverleaf connector, and the IPS rental units are supplied with 13a & 16a adaptor leads in the box.
The Samsung screens also have a built in media player, with SD card reader, and USB connection so can play video and image files directly without the need to connect a laptop. There are various different file formats supported, including .PDF and some versions of PowerPoint files.
The IPS screens are flight cased in pairs (although can also be supplied individually). The screens are all fitted with Unicol mounting brackets, and can be supplied with either a Unicol VS100 wheeled stand, or with one of our new grey Unicol Parabella stands. We can also supply flying brackets if you would like to suspend the screens.
To support the new screens, IPS has also boosted stocks of DVI cabling and distribution. DVI cable can be run up to 10m over standard cabling, but for longer runs IPS can now offer 20m DVI Fibre Kits, or for up to 50m runs a Lightware DVI over CAT5 system can be deployed. As well as these new LED screens, IPS still offers a range of 20" & 24" monitors, along with the 42" and 50" Panasonic plasma screens – and much more.
