New grandMA2 Light desks added to IPS hire stock

Often requested on larger shows and tours, the grandMA2 desks have a serious spec and offer lots of outputs and a comprehensive control surface, the grandMA 2 Light from MA Lighting is the latest desk to join the ever growing IPS hire inventory. Fully flightcased, the desks have barely been in the warehouse since arriving and heading around the UK on tour- and one is currently on its way back from an event in East Asia!

The grandMA2 features three internal touchscreen displays, including a main 9" screen plus two 15" screens. It has 15 motorised playback faders, and also a built in keyboard drawer. There are also a range of inputs and outputs on the desk, with two EtherCon ports, 6 DMX outputs and 1 input, plus on-board Audio, MIDI and SMPTE connections. The grandMA2 also features a built in UPS to ensure that operation is not interrupted even if the power supply is! Up to 256 DMX universes can be output from the desk if required (using the MA NPU).

The grandMA2 Light runs the same software as all the other grandMA2 desks (full size, ultra-light and MA onPC) and the show files are all compatible, and control surfaces can be interchanged. Backup is also easy, especially where Art-Net outputs are used, and desks can be used as tracking backups – multiple desks can also be used for collaborative programming on larger shows.
