All roles will be based from our Milton Keynes warehouse, and the Event Technician role will also include regular onsite work, and may include overnight stays.

The Warehouse Technician role will be based in our busy Milton Keynes warehouse, and will cover all technical disciplines including staging and rigging. The role will require preparing equipment to go onsite, and then checking and returning it to stock after events, and will also include loading and unloading vehicles and general warehouse duties. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager this role requires someone with experience of a similar technical role, meticulous attention to detail, good levels of equipment and technical knowledge, as well as physical strength. A forklift license would be advantageous, although not essential.

The Service Technician role will be based in our busy Milton Keynes warehouse. The role will cover all technical disciplines including staging and rigging, and will require the applicant to test, service and repair equipment. PAT test and electrical qualifications would be desirable. There will also be a requirement to assist with some general warehouse duties, including the prep and deprep of equipment, loading and unloading vehicles, requiring both technical ability and physical strength. Reporting to the Service Manager this role requires the applicant to have excellent problem solving skills, a working knowledge of the equipment stocked by IPS, good communication skills, and be a team player. IPS is looking for someone who has a very high level of attention to detail, and that is proactive and energetic, and is keen to work to efficiently in a cost effective & timely manner.

The Hire Coordinator role is an office based position, dealing mainly with equipment hire enquiries in our Milton Keynes office. The role will cover all technical disciplines including staging and rigging, and will require the applicant to respond to phone and email enquiries regarding equipment hire. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires the applicant to be highly organised, have a good working knowledge of the equipment stocked by IPS, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to use Microsoft Office and Rental software.

The Event Technician & Rigger role will cover working both in our busy Milton Keynes warehouse, and on site, and will cover all technical disciplines focussing on rigging. Whilst we encourage technicians to specialise in certain areas, they will always be expected to work in all the areas of the business. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, extensive practical experience, good communication skills, and for the applicant to be a team player. IPS regularly works all over the UK, and occasionally further afield. We are looking for someone who has a high level of attention to detail, has established technical skills, is proactive and energetic, and is keen to help IPS deliver events to the exacting requirements of our clients.
