IPS has added a large number of items to the ever growing inventory, boosting stocks of popular items
IPS' MD James Mason has continued to invest just over half a million pounds in more equipment to further ensure the continued success of the company saying "committing to larger quantities of popular items is making IPS a serious contender in an increasingly competitive marketplace, especially with more customers relying on us for a full range of Staging, Rigging, Lighting, Sound and Power requirements" With the summer staging season now very much in full swing, IPS is enjoying a particularly busy time, with equipment, vehicles and build teams working all over the UK on a huge range of different projects.
The recently added Chauvet Professional 6.7mm pitch Outdoor LED Screen has already seen a lot of activity – and amongst other events was proudly supplied for the MK Dons celebrations as the team were promoted to the Championship. The event was attended by hundreds of excited spectators, as well as the players themselves in Middleton Hall at the centre:MK, and the ground supported LED screen ensured that everyone could see the action. The high brightness LED panels are ideal for use in outdoor applications, or anywhere with a high ambient light level.
Lighting stocks have also been bolstered with more of the popular Smart Bat Battery Powered LED uplighters, an increased range of SGM P5 fixtures and lens options, and further Clay Paky A.Leda B-EYE K20 moving head LED fixtures joining the inventory. The IP rated SGM P5 LED wash units are now available with 15, 21 or 43 degree lens options, so can be supplied ready for your particular design or event requirement – and the bright units offer RGBW pastel or saturated colours with a minimal power consumption compared to the light output. A new lighting control multicore has also been added to our stock lists, which should speed up deploying control positions. The multicore features 4 x DMX lines, 2 x Cat 5 lines, a comms line and 16a power feed.
IPS has also been busy with various rigging projects, and additional Prolyte H40V truss has been added to stocks, including 0.25m and 0.5m sections of H40V along with further investment in CM motors, with another 12 x 500kg double braked units adding to the stocks. These have seen extensive use at the Arena:MK venue, where IPS is the in house technical partner. IPS has also significantly increased the stockholding of drapes, particularly in large 6m wide by 10m drop drapes – ideal for dividing large spaces. Power distribution and heavy mains cabling have seen stocks further increased. More details to follow on our expanded power distribution range.
Finally, it wouldn't be an IPS news story without us getting at least a little more LiteDeck! Despite one weekend where we had everything out, stocks have been further increased, and although still wise to book as early as possible, LiteDeck is available again. We are also delighted to announce we now have stocks of 2' x 2' LiteDeck, which is the smallest variant available.
Please get in touch for more details on any of the above equipment, or to discuss your next event.
