Strong Start to 2015

MPT-NYE---RHCP-2014IPS have started 2015 in style with new team members, and a range of exciting additions to hire stock


Following a very busy December, 2015 has started, and lots of projects are already underway. The end of 2014 saw IPS supplying equipment and production services all over the UK, including Christmas Party events in London, Milton Keynes & Manchester; awards shows in Brighton; fashion shows in Birmingham and even a full Outdoor Roof system for New Year’s Eve in Inverness. This is alongside all sorts of equipment supplied on dry hire to schools, local theatres and a smattering of film premieres.


Clay-Paky-MythosJanuary has already seen IPS working on Awards Shows, Automotive events and a series of night time running events, plus much much more. In order to help cope with the additional workload, there have been two new people joining our team – more details to follow soon.


As well as all these events, the rental inventory has also been growing. Some of the latest additions include:

  • Clay Paky Mythos – Astonishingly bright units, with a beam angle of 4-50 degrees, CMY colour mixing along with two prisms, two gobo wheels, a colour wheel and many other refinements. Check out more details here
  • Smart Bat LED uplighters – This new range Lightweight battery uplighters come in at an attractive price point, and feature RGBW LEDs, a range of control options including DMX, a Handheld IR Remote or App based control via a Wi-Fi adaptor. Full details to follow, but these units are already in hire stock

  • DB-D80

    Increased range of d&b PA systems in stock, including the new V8 & V12 line array cabinets, with V-Sub, and Y7P & Y10P cabinets, all driven by the cutting edge D80 amplifiers dramatically expands the possibilities of our PA systems.   • Loads more power distribution options – including 600a Powerlock distros & cabling, and a range of really useful 32a 3p units. Full details to follow shortly – but meanwhile our existing distro details can be found here
  • Many metres more truss have been added across the range, especially the workhorse of our range, the Prolyte H30V 30cm box truss. Also expanded are stocks of the larger Prolyte S52SV truss, which is ideal for the slightly larger spans. For details on our range of truss, please look here
