New Motor Controllers, more 250kg Prostars, and an increased range of Truss Circles and Power Distro all now added to our hire stocks!
Already operational in the IPS fleet are the new Motor Controllers from Outboard Electronics. IPS has invested in two linkable 8 way Motor Controllers, with a 16 way remote. These controllers have already proved essential for some of the more complicated rigging projects that the team have completed over the summer, and are added to the existing rental range of 4, 8 & 12 way controllers. All the motors and controllers stocked by IPS are direct control.
Alongside the increased range of motor control are increased stocks of the popular 250kg CM Prostar Motor. The Prostar is a compact electric hoist unit which is an ideal light weight rigging solution, with a self-weight of just 15kg including 12m of chain. The motors are direct control, and can be used with our range of controllers and cabling. IPS also stocks a range of motor cable, soca adaptors and a wide range of other rigging accessories.
IPS has also boosted stocks of Truss Circles. These include 3m and 4m diameter Prolyte H30V truss circles, which are both in four sections with a quad chord truss construction. The Prolyte H30 V series offers a superior weight loading compared to the X series of truss. If you need a lighter weight solution, IPS also have a 6m diameter Astralite Truss Circle, which is in 5 sections – and also a 13’ diameter rolled single scaff tube circle, which is ideal for creating draped shapes. As well as investments in the rigging department, IPS has also increased the range of power distribution options, 
with the latest addition being two 72 Way Socapex Hot Power Racks. These large format racks have a Powerlock input and link through, which then supply 12 socapex outlets, each way individually protected by a RCBO. There are also 3 x 16a 1p, 2 x 13a 1p, 1 x 32a 3p & 1 x 63a 3p outlets which make these distribution units a really handy onsite solution. IPS also have in stock 18 way Socapex distro units (1 x 63a 3p inlet, 3 x Soca Out, 1 x 16a 1p out) and 36 way Socapex distro units (1 x 63a 3p inlet, 6 x Soca Out, 2 x 32a 3p out & 1 x 63a 3p Out). IPS equipment is available on a Dry Hire basis, and can either be collected from our Milton Keynes warehouse, or we can deliver it to pretty much anywhere it is needed.
