The Prolyte 12m x 10m MPT Roof structure will be hosting the Aylesbury Concert Band this Saturday at Vale Park, Aylesbury. IPS will be supplying the complete technical production infrastructure, including staging, lighting, sound and power for the stage and concessions. More information about the event can be found here.
IPS Senior Technician Ian will be looking after sound for the event, and will be putting the new d&b audiotechnik T10 system through its paces. Used in a Line Array configuration, this PA will provide accurate coverage of the audience area, and be more than able to reinforce the subtleties of the orchestral performances.
Graham will be operating lighting for the event, and with some creative ideas of his own will be using a combination of LED and conventional light sources, including Martin MAC 700 profile fixtures and swags of LED Starcloth to help set the scene for the proms. Everything will be run from the Chamsys MaqicQ lighting desk, which is increasingly proving to be a popular choice with lighting designers for events of all types. Graham says “I am planning to use the pixel mapping features of the desk to make the most of the LED fixtures- it makes it easy to create some exciting effects”
An IPS generator will be providing the power for the site, and with a range of different power distribution solutions being used onsite, including custom built units to IPS specifications, all offering RCD protection.
The Prolyte structure itself has had a number of outings this summer already, and with a stage platform size of 40’ x 32’ can lend itself to a wide range of different events. To check out our full range of stages, visit the outdoor and festival staging page here.
