IPS are proud to have supplied various structures for the 2012 Milton Keynes International Festival, including a Layher Front of House Position and Projection Tower, a Layher Entrance Gantry, along with various sized Stages, Lighting & Viewing Platforms. With the sun finally making an appearance onsite, the Layher entrance gantry has been installed in one part of Campbell Park, and then moved to a second location to promote different events on the site.
The Layher Entrance Gantry is a 5.5m high by 6m wide construction, and IPS also fitted the distinctive MK IF branding onto the completed structure prior to handover. The Layher Allround modular scaffolding system can be used in a variety of configurations, and a range of different sized gantry structures can be constructed- or steps can be added to build a pedestrian bridge if required.
The Layher FOH position is the ideal outside home for controlling all the technical elements of your production, and can again be supplied in a range of different configurations. IPS supplied a 4m x 4m single storey FOH position for the IF Festival, and behind this supplied a 4m x 2m Projection Tower with to create a 3.5m high projection position for 'As the world tipped'. As well as the equipment installed in Campbell Park, IPS also supplied a LiteDeck based viewing platform for the impressive 'Collective Spirit' boat that is on display in Queens Court at the Centre:MK. The braced LiteDeck platform is constructed from the LiteDeck modular aluminium staging system, fitted with Public Access Handrails and access treads, and all constructed from IPS Dry Hire stock. Viewing platforms can be constructed for a huge range of scenarios, inside or out in all sorts of different shapes and sizes.
