The MagicQ Playback wing adds an additional 24 playback faders to the Chamsys MQ100 desk - ideal for larger shows, or when you need quick access to lots of different scenes. As well as the faders, ther are also Go/Back and Select buttons for each fader and screens above each fader so they can be labelled. The wing connects to the host desk via a supplied USB cable, and sits very neatly next to the MQ100 console. Playback wing features are as follows:

The SnakeSys B4 is a four universe DMX to Ethernet convertor from manufacturer Chamsys. It can be used as an Art-Net converter with any type of lighting desk, and features four outputs of DMX via 5 Pin XLRs, plus a DMX input port. Power is supplied via a PowerCon lead, and the unit is supplied by IPS in a case with an Ethercon patch cable and 16a to PowerCon power lead.

• Four DMX512 Ports (configurable as input or output)
• One dedicated DMX512 input port
• Art-Net and ACN Streaming DMX support
• Can be used with any Art-Net or ACN compliant console
• Universe selectable by rotary switches
• ChamNet remote configuration
• Stand-alone DMX buffer mode

When connected via network to MagicQ, the SnakeSys B4 unlocks the restricted features of MagicQ such as the full screen Execute Window and remote control. This means that if you have downloaded a free version of the MagicQ software onto your PC or Mac, connecting this unit via Art-Net will unlock all the features of the software. This can also be used to add a computer to a system with a desk and Chamsys desk to provide a backup in the event of the desk becoming disabled.
